What is Connections?

Connections is our Monday night main Recovery meeting for those age 18 and older.
MG Recovery exists to help those in recovery through faith-based 12-Step teaching and solution-focused small groups.  We believe that we are all recovering from something whether it's addiction, porn, gambling, codependency or family of origin issues.  We are proud to offer a support group for Veterans as well. If you or someone you know is looking for assistance/support for teens, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. At this time we do not offer childcare.

Come join us! Food and fellowship begin at 6 pm in the Youth Auditorium.

Main entrance Door 1. Handicap accessibility is available at Door 12.

Serenity Prayer

God, grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change, the COURAGE to change the things I can, and the WISDOM to know the difference. LIVING one day at a time, ENJOYING one moment at a time; ACCEPTING hardship as a pathway to peace; taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; TRUSTING that You will make all things right if I SURRENDER to Your will; so that I may be reasonably HAPPY in this life and supremely happy with You forever in the next. AMEN.

Addictions Recovery

Our addiction recovery groups support those who want to recover from drugs, alcohol, pornography, gambling, eating disorders and other process addictions.

Veterans Recovery

Our veterans recovery group supports active and retired individuals who have experienced the challenges of transition, displacement, anger, PTSD, anxiety, depression and substance abuse as a result of the challenges faced from deployment and transition from military life.

Family Recovery

Our family recovery groups support spouses, parents, children and friends of those dealing with the struggles of addiction and codependency. We believe addiction affects everyone in the family. These groups are also for those who struggle with general life issues like anxiety, depression, isolation and hurts from the past.

Small Group Guidelines

The following five guidelines will ensure that your small group is a safe place.

  1. Keep your sharing focused on your own thoughts and feelings.
  2. There is NO cross-talk. Cross-talk is when two people engage in conversation excluding all others. Each person is free to express his or her feelings without interruptions.
  3. We are here to support one another, not "fix" one another. This keeps us focused on our own issues.
  4. Anonymity and confidentiality are basic requirements. What is shared in the group stays in the group. The only exception is when someone threatens to injure themselves or others.
  5. Offensive language has no place in a Christ-centered recovery group.
